Moke Lake and Mtn. Bike Park - near Queenstown

After a bike ride up to Lake Moke and then down via farm fields and 4WD tracks, ended up at this playground set up by the Queenstown Mountain Bike Club. It is very tough. Even the ride into the center of the park (on a hilltop) would bring the best of riders off their bikes. Trails are labeled Green, Blue, and Black. Like a ski area, the ratings are relevant only to the location. Blue was hard. All around the network of trails were large trees split in half and winding horizontally about 1 meter above ground. A good test of riding balance and handling. There are jumps and built up turns on steep down hills.
