Pat arrived directly from New Zealand via LA. Mark came later after a side trip to Omaha to visit the Oracle. Spring has sprung and there are flowering plants and trees everywhere (the constant rain helps). We checked into the local hostel - located in the Knob Hill district next to downtown. The area is full of historic houses, cafes, shops and parks. Here are a few of the colorful flowers Pat photographed.
